Schedule a Consultation with the Sleep Cycle Center Team

Sleep is a key component to living a healthy and happier life. Yet more than one in three adults nationwide struggle to get the rest they deserve each night. This leads to the development of secondary health conditions and a reduced quality of life.

Sleep Cycle Center can help you find the answers to managing your condition.

We’ll start with an initial consultation with a member of our Dental Sleep Medicine team whether you are diagnosed with a sleep disorder such as obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and snoring, or are investigating the symptoms of a suspected sleep disorder.

Preparing For Your Initial Sleep Consultation

We understand that many patients may feel anxious or apprehensive about their initial consultation and what to expect from their first appointment with the team.

The first consultation is an opportunity to discuss symptoms and the impact of your sleep problems on your daily life so our Dental Sleep team can build a detailed picture of your symptoms, current physical health, and previous medical history.

The team may examine your mouth, jaw, and throat to evaluate any anatomical issues or oral health concerns that could influence the success of treatment and apnea diagnosis.

Although the initial consultation is only the first step in your journey to better sleep, it is a fundamental part of planning the next steps in your care and developing a personalized treatment plan unique to your medical needs and requirements. This is why many appointments take place face-to-face at our Lakeway or Northern Austin clinic.

Consultations are available throughout the week with flexible times and appointments to work around a variety of schedules from our convenient Northern Austin or Lakeway clinics.

Remote and virtual appointments are available based on patient eligibility and criteria.

Reviewing Suitability For Alternative Apnea and Snoring Treatments

Ensuring ongoing treatment and care for our patients is a vital part of sleep disorder management.

That’s why we work with sleep experts across our network to refer cases of severe, complex, or combined sleep apnea who may be unable to access treatment at our facilities.

If you’re concerned about your eligibility for treatment with the Sleep Cycle Center team, contact the team directly or book our free 15-minute assessment call to discuss suitability for testing and treatment with the Dental Sleep Medicine team.

Building Your Personalized Treatment Plan

You will receive a personalized treatment plan developed around your unique medical history and healthcare needs following a comprehensive consultation with our Dental Sleep team. This will outline the costs, follow-ups, and equipment required.

Patients who are yet to receive a diagnosis for a sleep disorder or require further investigations into the severity of their condition may be advised to undergo remote sleep testing as part of their ongoing treatment plan with the team.

Unlike in-lab and hospital-based testing, our FDA-approved sleep studies take place remotely from the comfort of your home. These are arranged conveniently around your schedule with equipment provided by our Sleep Cycle Center team.

Following the test, results are sent directly to sleep experts within our medical network via advanced, HIPAA-compliant, cloud-based technology for analysis.

One of our partner sleep doctors will contact you directly to formally diagnose a sleep disorder before referring you to the Sleep Cycle Center team to explore treatment options.

Follow-ups and Ongoing Care at Sleep Cycle Center

As Greater Austin’s holistic and alternative Dental Sleep Medicine Center, Dr. Chadwick and his dedicated Dental Sleep team bring leading expertise on modern, innovative approaches to managing obstructive sleep apnea and snoring.

Our wide range of comprehensive treatment options is regulated and developed with the guidance of the FDA and leading sleep science associations and partners. This enables the team to offer leading and safe apnea treatments and care.

Your treatment plan may contain various modern combinations of apnea or snoring treatments and therapies focused on empowering you to take control of your sleep for long-term management of your medical condition.

As a result, patients can explore a range of options that best fit their lifestyle and personal goals for symptom relief. These include lifestyle changes, dental devices, CPAP machines, and surgical approaches.

Face-to-face follow-ups at our Lakeway and Northern Austin clinic may be required to confirm the progress of your treatment and symptoms and to make adjustments where necessary to support a successful journey to better quality sleep.

Clinic Appointment Schedules For Dental Appliance

Patients at Sleep Cycle Center join a welcoming, supportive medical community of sleep specialists, experts, and others living with OSA. We foster an environment that promotes improvements in apnea awareness and health outcomes.

Your personalized treatment plan will outline the resources and facilities available at our Northern Austin and Lakeway clinics. You can access these during your treatment with us, and any in-person appointments required as part of your ongoing care.

Patients prescribed our high-quality dental appliances and devices will be required to attend molding, fitting, and follow-up appointments for optimum symptom management and maintenance of oral health.

Your initial consultation will usually involve an examination of your mouth and teeth to ensure suitability for treatment and create molding for enhanced comfort during daily usage.

Once the device is developed to your unique mouth shape and size, follow-ups may be required for fitting and then every few weeks to check the progress and success of the treatment.

We will advise patients on expectations for refittings and check-ups throughout their treatment plan with the team.

Combining Apnea Treatments With Holistic Therapies

Our combination therapies often require regular check-ins with a member of the team or partners to evaluate a patient’s progress. These are commonly prescribed alongside primary sleep apnea treatments, such as CPAP machines or oral appliances.

All treatment plans developed by our Dental Sleep Medicine team are unique to the lifestyle, symptoms, and goals of each patient. Your appointments, length of treatment, and follow-up schedules will apply to your unique needs.

Our holistic therapies include lifestyle changes, weight management programs, and positional therapies, which may require additional appointments, equipment, or communication with medical partners in our network.

Sleep Cycle Center, or accredited providers within our extensive medical network, will arrange all consultations, equipment, and prescriptions, leaving you to focus on the success of your treatment plan.
